OVERVIEW
King's Edgehill School is Canada's oldest independent boarding school, complete with a heritage library constructed in 1789. Its campus consists of first-class dorm, dining, academic and theatre arts facilities. The library serves as our parliament and is among the most suitable settings for our program accross Canada.
DORMITORY & DINING
Campers at Debate Camp are housed in gender-separate dorms with Debate Camp Program Staff available on each floor. Rooms are furnished for 2 occupants. Roomate requests are available. Camper roomate pairings are otherwise determined by age group. Dining facilities are hotel-standard, with a selection of options at each meal. Dietary requests are accommodated with advance notice via the registration process.
RECREATION & OUTINGS
Debate Camp is well known for its balanced approach to learning. Admittedly, debating and public speaking are academic activities. The energy required for success here is often best served by some opportunities for thematic, fun and improv-type games. Recreation time and swim outings are organized for each day. Evenings often conclude with a campfire.
